Legendary Birthdays: Today We Celebrate Tite Kubo!
What You Need to Know: [/en][es]Lo que necesitas saber: [/es] Does this man need any type of introduction?! Tite Kubo is one of the most iconic mangaka of our generation and if you've been keeping up with all of the recent news, you'll know that one of all-time anime classics, Bleach, is getting revived! He's also currently working on his brand new series titled Burn the Witch, which is slated to release as an anime real soon! In the meantime, let's learn more about this incredible human being! Tite Kubo (also known as Taito Kubo) sent his first works to Jump when he was just a 3rd year student in high school. After an editor realized his talent he debuted with the one-shot "ULTRA UNHOLY HEARTED MACHINE" in 1996, going under the name of "Noriaki Kubo" (without the need of a comic assistant!). Since then, he started serializing "BLEACH" in 2001 and of course you know, the rest is history. He has loved "Gegege no Kitarou" "Saint Seiya" and it leads him to draw more manga. He says he doesn't read manga except for JUMP, which is understandable because we all know how godlike Shonen Jump is. Kyousuke Usuta (whose manga is "Pyu- to fuku Jagar") is a close friend of Kubo's. So there you have it, a small little tidbit on the legend himself and of course it's his birthday, so be sure to send him a shoutout on his Twitter!
